Some of our providers (including Netlify and Google) process data outside the UK, for example in the United States or the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or a UK adequacy decision.
6. How long we keep your data

8. When we process data for our clients
When we build or maintain a website for a client, we may have access to personal data belonging to that client's own customers (for example orders or form submissions). In that case the client is the data controller and we act as a data processor, following the client's instructions under the data processing terms in our Terms of Service.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, strong passwords and two-factor authentication on the accounts we use. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the ICO of a data breach where the law requires it.
